What exactly does "OBO" mean?

This crap has happened to me several times. In every case as soon as you agreed to the new price, they raised it again. They're just trying to squeeze more money out of you, because you didn't haggle. A lot of people I know would try this if you just took the offered price. They assume because you just jumped on it, they must not have asked for enough. I learned the hard way, once this starts, you might as well just walk away.
 
I think you missed an opportunity here.

If someone would have done that to me, I would have said "OK, I will pay $220". I would keep that up until he finally decided to sell it to me at whatever price, than I would just never show up to get the merchandise. Maybe even drag it on a week or two in case there was indeed another buyer. That way, there is a better chance that the other buyer found another deal and is no longer interested.

All this time I thought it meant original box o...

Could never figure out the last one to come up with something that made sense (thought of things liked opened, optional) but never really bothered to try, as you can tell. 😉
