What exactly does "nef" mean?

Don't flame me for not knowing, but I've never really understood the exact parameters that make a "nef" a "nef". Please clarify for me.

i think the term existed even before this particular user. it's just that when he registered, he intended to nef and therefore gave himself that name.

l33t = "hacker" (stupid 13 year old who thinks writing on the verge of being completely unintelligible is cool) abbreviation... l33t = leet = abbv. of eleet = "cool" way of saying elite.
