What ever happened to the show The Family Guy???

That was by far the funniest cartoon on the air, but I haven't seen it on in ages.

I wonder if they sell DVD boxed sets of the series? that would sure be worth the money.
That was the first show, that I consistently laughed out loud every week! Simpsons I do once in a while, but The Family Guy was in it's own league.

Unfortunately, the horrible show did not completely die. I swear I think the Family Guy crew makes The Simpsons now. How can I tell? The jokes are inane, and unfunny. The animation style is looking quite Family Guy-ish as well.

I used to love The Simpsons. Now, it just sucks.

I have been following, I love this show.. apparently it was never cancelled, but put on hold, to be determined by the success of titus, and that lame one with john goodman (the gay guy show, like 1 episode, and it died?) and so far, as of last month, they are going to run a few at the sweeps, and during the summer (reruns) and possibly set it full time next fall. Its amazing how this show has come and gone, like a roller coaster, never really getting cancelled, but put aside so much. I dont know what fox's deal is here, its a great show, and always does ok in the ratings, they just cant commit anything. Maybe the crew is screwy or something. But hopefully it comes back full time soon. I love it. Poop, you are too uptight.

I too love this show. Fox should've made a Futurama and Family Guy hour. Pity those execs are too stupid. As for the status of Family Guy, I heard is was a summer replacement show. Let's hope so.

I think what happened was they did want to air it again this year but weren't sure until the last minute. When they did decide they were too late and couldn't fit it in anywhere. Someone told me they put it on Fox Family or something. As far as I know it'll be back next season.

Seem like it'll be back sometime according to Fox's website.

It was a funny show, although I would easily watch The Simpsons over Family Guy.

It was also hilarious when Stewy first shot a BB Gun at the county fair. He then did the "This is my rifle, this is my gun. This one's for killing, this one's for fun" line with full gestures from the movie Full Metal Jacket.

Vi_edit and I were wondering that same thing last week. We were wondering if it might have been a little too offensive to the more sensitive viewers (although I don't know why they would be watching fox). Great show though.

The latest rumor over at fox's Family Guy forum on Delphi is it will be back on in April but I wouldn't hold your breath.
