What ever happened to the dude selling iPods loaded with music for $1000 on eBay?

I'm pretty sure I saw his auctions linked to on here a long time ago. He was selling iPods for $1000... at first I thought, who'd pay $1000 for an iPod? Then I saw in the fine print he had them full of music from iTunes that he'd leave on there.

20000 hours of community service would be better punishment than 1 day of jail.

Why?

I'm sick of high taxes and 1 in every 75 men being locked away for petty NON VIOLENT crimes.

We need to revamp our system and make sure the pedophiles and murders stay locked up for life by themselves.

Said very well, bravo!

This should be for all crimes, prison was designed to protect society from VIOLENT criminals!
All other criminals should pay their debt to society through community service while under ankle bracelet monitoring.

If he purchased the music, couldn't he transfer the ownership much the same way you can transfer the ownership of used CDs?

Anyways, in case I don't know what I'm talking about, best punishment for computer crime is a court order to stay off computer for a few years and/or assignment of community service in a way that doesn't take away jobs from others.

That's fine in theory. Come up with a way to do so w/o massive cost to the tax payers and I'll approve it.

Easy, just dangle drugs in front of them while they run on treadmills. Free electricity for all!
