This card seems to have dropped off the radar completely? What ever happened to it?

Maybe the R300 sent 3dlabs back to the revision board, any info?

It's out but only the pro version which does very poorly in games.

Everyone is waiting for Creative to produce the consumer version.

The P10 chip is out and doing quite well in the Pro3D market segment in the WildCat XP boards.
The consumer P10 boards seem to have fallen by the way-side however, much as the once planned Permedia 4 did.
It seems questionable now whether the P10 will ever hit the consumer market, as Creative has released an R9700Pro board.

I doubt the R300 will have had any considerable impact on the P10's consumer release schedula, as the P10 is not intended to compete heavily in the high end gamers market. The P10 is primarily aimed at being a mainstream product with a few innovative features intended to garner attention to the 3DLabs brand name in the consumer market.

I thought Creative were aiming at a fall release for the consumer P10 version anyway with the Pro version being ready (as it was) for the start of the summer.

I personally think that it probably will be released but more than likely be lower cost than the R9700 with lower performance, however no doubt that creative should be able to keep the prices competitive.

It really makes more sense for Creative just to market the ATi. Why go through the hassle? They have a great chip at your disposal... why risk a new product line right now.
