dude that article is almost 4 years old - wow, it was written during the fall of my freshman year, and I'm graduating in less than a month. It didnt make it (well that I know of). Probably the manufacturers decided it was unnecessary, or that it would be unprofitibale to market.

I remember reading about "Rambus RAM" back in 1994. I was actually debating whether to get EDO in my new top of the line Pentium or wait for Rambus. The article I read said that Rambus would take the market by storm "in the next few months." Boy am I glad I decided not to wait. Took them a couple of generations to get to market.

So now the big question.... GeForce5 in August or wait for the BitBoys?

bitboys have been deving thier card for like 8 years now, hello vaporware, they make it better every few months and no one has ever seen one working, no benches, no prototypes, nothing. For all i know its some dude on a Celeron 300a in montana jerking 90,000,000 chains ;-)
