Here's a question, I hope it fits here, I wasn't sure where to put it.
What Enterprise Software or ERP solution do you use in the office?
We use a company we've been using for a long time, but lately it tends to be a lot of trouble.
Basically the main things we use are:
POS (Point-of-Sale)
Inventory
Item Management
Replenishment
Pick/Pack - Shipping
E-Commerce Control
Purchasing
etc.
Outputs of Accounting info go into MAS200, by Sage.
Sales
Expenses
Payroll
Etc.
What kind of stuff does everyone else use. I'm just trying to look for other stuff that has similar (even if not all) features. The biggest hangup I keep finding is the lack of POS, though this POS solution works pretty good, it's more of the corporate database stuff we have issues with.
It also runs on a UNIX platform with a Linux database server, everyone uses a terminal window to log in to the UNIX box and use the main application.
Just looking for ideas of systems to look into, companies you've had good luck with, etc.
