Is there a free email client that can access a free new hotmail or yahoo account?

So that I can send and receive email without having to log into hotmail or yhoo every time myself.

Outlook Express is free and comes with any version of Windows but I don't know if Vista comes with Outlook Express. I am able to send and recieve email from hotmail using Outlook Express but not with Yahoo.

Hotmail from MSN require the paid version for remote POP access. Same for Yahoo you need the Premium Paid service for it to work.
No charge for POP access in Gmail Accounts

Yes, I figured out that gmail was the way to go.

If you can get your hotmail through a client, it means that you have an old hotmail account. On the new accounts, you cannot access them with any client unless you pay.

Gmail is free and works perfectly with Windows Mail (outlook express version of Vista).

What you might be able to try is see if you can forward your email to gmail, and then POP that down to your desktop.

free hotmail doesn't offer forwarding.
