What else uses your secondary HD in WinXP???

I'm tryin to Friggin Format my D: Hard Drive (80gb Seagate) and windows Xp keeps telling me the damn drive is still in use. What other crap does windows run in the background that could be stopping this>???? I already turned of System Restore Monitoring.

What else is there?

go through computer management. it's under administrative tools
