I recently got a 32' in panasonic TV. i love the TV, and was surprised that i can turn my laptop off when i turn the tv off (only when connected in HDMI) Is there anything else i can do with the laptop/tv connected ?

Thanks !

compguy, what's the model number of your 32" Viera?

I'm thinking about getting the TC-L32S1 and I'd like to connect my PC to it via HDMI, but on page 42 of the manual under the "HDMI connection" section, "Caution" subsection, there's a part that says:

Use with a PC is not assumed

Then, under the "PC Input Terminals Connection" section on page 48 it says:

The maximum resolution: 1,280 x 1,024

Finally, in the "PC signals" section in the Specifications section at the end of the manual (page 52) it says:

VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA, SXGA
Horizontal scanning frequency 31 - 69 kHz
Vertical scanning frequency 59 - 86 Hz

I want to be sure that I'll be able to set the resolution to 1920x1080 when connecting my PC to it via HDMI.
