What else can I do with a dual monitor set up?

I just picked up a Dell 2005fpw with the intention of having it replace my 17" LCD.. I put my LCD on craigslist for $200, hoping to get around $180 for it or so...in the meantime I hooked it up to my Radeon to get the dual monitor action. . .and to make a long story short I don't think I'm going to sell it anymore.

Right now I mainly use the second monitor as an expensive TV, with my TV tuner screen displayed on it, and using a nice dual monitor wallpaper. What else can I do?

well, i watch HDTV on one screen while working 🙂P) or cruising the net, or chatting on MSN...also very handy when working properly (can have my source documents, usually PDF's up on my second screen while i work on word on my primary screen). Useful for reading walkthroughs/having a temp monitoring program/task manager up to see how hot/how much system resources a game is using...

It makes it much easier generally having the second screen, i can't go back to half the real estate now 😱

When doing school work, I have word open in one writing a report, and Firefox in the other with my reference articles in it. With the amount of good research articles on the web these days I hardly ever go into the university library. When playing Guild Wars I have the game in one and a map of the region I'm playing in on the other. I used to have chat in the other but now I use Skype.
