yes, the only one that really works. tried final bid, snipemonkey and some other "supposedly working" sniping software. wasted my money. i bought the deluxe version an so far so good.

Why, what with the "max bid" feature of eBay now, would you ever really need to "snipe?"

Because it's stupid, it will just artificially increase the price for the buyers.

Think about it.

$50 item

Buyer 1 - sets max bid at $70
Buyer 2 - sets max bid at $90

If neither bidders had set a maximum, they might have been able to snag it for $51 using an auction sniper.

Sniping or not sniping really doesnt have much of an effect on ebay or auctions.

I've sniped and still lost because some other bidder was still willing to pay more than I was.

Sniping doesnt mean that just because you bid last that you will win.

I just like sniping because its sort of like keeping a low profile, cause if a couple of people bid on the same thing yall right off the bat know there is going to be competition for that item so you pay more attention to it to see how the bidding is going and whatnot.

However when I snipe I'm hoping that other people will just forget about the auction till its over and not bid on it, at the least you wont end up in a bidding war with someone cause there isnt enough time.

I snipe with my index finger with about 10 seconds to go, and enter the most I want to pay for it.

If I win - then i've got a bargain - if I don't - then someone else has paid too much.

However i'll give it the best chance of getting it as cheaply as possible, and not put a bid in 3 days before it ends - you'll always have someone come along and bid on it because they've seen someone else has.

When you go to a proper auction, you don't stick your hand up the first time the auctioneer shouts out - you wait until they drop the price right down, and then you start from there. Auctions are about getting things for the best price - not for the highest price!

well, i always love the thrill to bid it with my own eyes,
so I never used it,
also,

i know I missed alot of auctions, but hey.. its life,
u win some and u lose some =)
