What DVD should I buy?

My CD-ROM is on the fritz and is about to go out. So I might as well get a DVD player. What is the best one out?

toshiba x16 or pioneer 106/116s!

I've got both of these in 2 different computers. Both work great.

I love the slot load of the Pioneer (106S), but it is significantly louder than the Toshiba.

Also, the Pioneer is ATA66, while the Toshiba is ATA33. Either should be adequate.
