What driver should I use on my Ultra66 for optimum performance?

I remember something last summer about using an Ultra100 driver to do something or other on an Ultra66 to get some sort of performance boost.

My recall of the details is obviously sketchy. The Promise site has the latest drivers as 6/1/00.

hmm, could it be modding the card to be a RAID card?

Don't think so, I don't have two HDs to stripe anyways.

all I seem to recall is last year promise stating that using driver build 19 or greater for the ultra 100 card could increase performance of hdds even if not connected to the controller card by up to 40%!

I think that's what I'm talking about. Where are those drivers?
