what dpi to run on a dell 2001FP and 700m laptop screen?

I would like to set the LCD's on both of these to the proper DPI, what matches the dots per inch of the LCD. does anyone know what the settings should be? I know windows defaults at 96dpi, but I'd like to set it matched to the LCD screen rather than what windows wants to set.
