Name the best ones from your experience and the cheapest. Are there any good cheap ones?

IIRC 1and1.com offeres a $2.99 domain reg for it's members. Pretty neato especially if you got in that 3 year free web hosting deal.

$4.95 to $9.99 per year, for up to 10 years. Believe Anubis was referring to a 2 year cost.

Try getting your host to be the registrar. I use HasWeb.com, and they offer to match NameCheap for the registration fee. HasWeb has gone up in price since I signed there, so you might want to check with other hosts as well.

I have mine through namecheap.com for the next ten years (unless they go out of business).

Powweb.com

Take a look at that. They've always been good to me. Their member operations and support forum are great as well. Can't really say how great those guys are.

Here's a :cookie: for you :p

ev1servers.net is among the cheapest reputable domain registrars.

Whatever you do, avoid 1and1.com at all costs.

Remember NameCheap.com offers FREE WhoisGuard Protection :)

eNom.com is good they are an ICANN Accredited domain registrar but I HATE their interface.

I'd rather use GoDaddy instead of eNom.

Just avoid 1and1.com and you should be ok.
