Not by anything. I believe Montana passed Colorado last year as the least obese state. The more people move to Colorado (and they're moving here in droves), the fatter and older it will get.

hehe, i like stuff like this. MA - fewest traffic fatalities? Wow, after some of the drivers I've seen in MA, I pity the rest of the states.

Ma has the fewest traffic fatalities because:

• 
  we have crowded roads, so drivers generally must drive slower

• 
  drivers here learn to make quick evasive moves which help them avoid collisions

• 
  MA has the best hospital emergency departments & docs so fewer folks croak if they make it alive to an ED.
