What Does Your Data Center Org Chart Look Like?

I work in the Data Center department for a SaaS company and we're undergoing some organizational changes that I don't necessarily agree with. Anyone care to share how their data center department is organized? Something like this is what I'm looking for:

I'm glad I'm working in a more modern "circular" company. Everyone does anything that needs to be done, a controller assigns tasks, and a manager makes sure everything runs smoothly. Nobody has any authority over anyone else. It's actually a liberating and enjoyable work experience!

How about you show us yours and explain why you disagree, not that your opinion necessarily means anything. The technologies and human capital resources vary enough from one organization to the next to basically remove any value to showing some other entity's. What makes sense for my org might be pointless or stupid in yours and vice versa.

Why are the "juniors" above the non-juniors in that chart?

OP, unless you're near the top of the tree, your options are:

A) Shut up, enjoy it and collect a pay check
B) Shut up, don't enjoy it but collect a pay check
C) Quit

Was going to ask the same question about junior positions above non-junior positions.

No systems analyst? Geuss the programmers have too many jobs.

Awful top heavy on administrators, but it is hard to say how many users are supported and the sheer size of the operation.

It's not a real org chart, just the 2nd hit on Google image search using terms "data center org chart". I won't do the OP homework for him if he can't draft a plausible one himself or post the actual one he has issues with.

Not necessarily true, good managers will listen to constructive feedback given in good faith. Although OP concerns likely represent either a constraint of some kind (human capital, technology, financial) or may be a transitional state org chart. I will caveat the feedback question though by saying I am more likely to take your concern seriously if you are the enterprise architecture guy than the junior test script galley slave or help desk monkey.

I agree 100%. I'm not asking for the "correct" org chart for a data center department. I'm simply asking for others to share what their data center department looks like. What my department looks like now and the proposed changes are completely irrelevant to my request. If you want to play "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" ... fine, don't show me. No skin off my nose... I'm just looking for anecdotal experience/information.

I can, and have expressed my concerns to my management already. Posting it here serves no purpose as I'm not looking for feedback on the current organization of the department or the proposed organizational changes. I'm curious how other data center departments are organized and what size they are.
