How'd you do this? I am craving something even more minimal than what I currently have, and I like the look of this a lot.

Minimalistic Text for the time and date, some icons in GIMP using the same font. With ADW EX, just swipe up to open the app drawer.

You could do all of it with Minimalistic Text if you wanted.

I do like these kind of looks. The only reason I haven't done a more minimalist monochrome is if I did it I would want it to be 100% battery icons and all. I'm not good enough at editing the framework and other APKs to change everything's icon and notification. I know it's possible but its a PITA lol.

How many built in themes does Android have? Like if I don't want to monkey around with rooting or flashing or anything, is there like 10 significantly different themes in the standard OS that you can switch between? Because I think that would be enough for me. And some of these look really cool. But if you gotta hack your phone, its too much work.

Actually the majority of the customization are off the market through apps. The only things that need flashing/root are probably the lockscreen and the upper icons.

What calendar app are you all using? That's the only thing I liked about Sense; their full-screen calendar widget.

CalWidget has full screen calendar widget that is a list view but I like whatever one they are using better.

If you pay for Launcher Pro Plus, you get the same Calendar, Messaging, and People widgets from Sense.

When I did used to have a calendar widget, it was CalWidget.

Both have their pluses and minuses, I've owned both and most definitely have spent more time modding both than you have even one. I probably put 100 hours into modding my iPhone and maybe about the same on my Android (and counting) For everything one can do the other can't, there are things the other can do that the 1st can't.

that's a *gasp* iPhone! You can get widgets & you don't have the silly 7 screen limitation that Android has, well Android if you're using Sense, LPP or some other launcher. I don't think Stock Android supports over 3 (I could be wrong though)
