not law or even pre law student but will take guess if you don't mind Dismissed with the person filled case origionally have to pay court fees for all courts that it has been in. So if it started in superior court and then went to appealet court and then to supreme court, that person would have to pay for all 3 courts fees but like i said just a guess

Ehh, we need more to work with. Was this a settlement offer? Like, you sued for 2k. They offered 1k. You say 1k, with all costs? Jeez, this is law class. You should know, have to read about this stuff.

yes it is a law class.. but it is an elective designed for engineers. We have been given cases but not all has been explained. The exact quote is:

"The judgment of the Appellate Division and that of the Trial Term should be reversed, and the complaint dismissed, with costs in all courts."

The judge sided with the plaintiff over a rescission of a contract

thanks
