What does Ungangable mean?

Okay, so here I am looking at AMD's exciting new Next Generation Processor slides and schematics. Then I see this "Four Ungangable x16 HyperTransport links (up to 5.2GT/sec)" part.

What the heck does this mean? I googled it (google don't sue me!) and I came up with nothing useful.

I think that means that two devices can't use the same link. Basically I think that they're implying 4 PCIe x16 lanes, which makes sense since ATI mentioned using a 3rd graphics card for physics.

Maybe it means they are not coherent HT links such as those required for inter-CPU communication in SMP. Or alternately, that they cannot be "ganged" or linked together to aggregate bandwith t one device.
