What does Ubuntu have that XUbuntu doesn't?

I believe Ubuntu runs with Gnome as the default GUI and XUbuntu runs with Xfce as the default GUI.
Of course you could always install Gnome on your Xubuntu install ....

OK, I use both Ubuntu and Xubuntu. The difference? Xubuntu uses a much lighter-weight window manager, and is usable on lower-end hardware. Unfortunately, it skimps on a lot of the stuff that comes with Ubuntu, and Ubuntu's interface seems a lot more natural.

If you can run it (you likely can), I'd go with Ubuntu.
