Thoughts are the gun, words are the bullets, deeds are the target, the bulls-eye is heaven.

I have to decipher this quote for English. I get the gun and bullet part, but not the target and bulls-eyes, and heaven part.

"deeds are the target"

the target is the deed you have to do[kill]?

"the bulls-eye is heaven"

hit the bulls-eye and the guy is sent to heaven, ie: dead?

aim your thoughts and words towards doing good deeds so you can go to heaven.

It means that the goal of reaching Heaven is achieved through ones thoughts, words, and deeds.
