Does this mean I have a lot more upper end to this baby?

I remember something when I set up my athlon 2000 about having to set the speed in the bios once, and then it stays. Anyone else confirm this? I'm not sure if you had to pick the multiplier or pick the bus speed, but you had to pick one. After you set it once, it stayed. Pretty sure it was bus speed.

This may not apply, thats just the first thing I thought of when you said you booted at 950.

So you want us to guess what your processor is?

I haven't had many processors, but 100 FSB and 18 Multiplier sounds different.

I don't think all my SIMMS are pc133. I should have printed another part of this report, where it said one was 100MHz, one was 133MHz, and one was 125MHz.

This is actually from PC Wizard, BTW, I found it easier to cut and paste from there than cpaturing a screen shot of CPU-Z and ftping it to a file server, blah blah blah.

Eep.
Okay, if you're not sure then leave it at a 100Mhz FSB. Anything more than that may cause instability.

Might be worth using CPU-Z to identify the processor correctly though.

CPU-Z Also lists the proc as Unknown type.

Also, I have three 512MB PC133 DIMMs on the way to max out the memory on this bad boy, so once I do that I hope to get the proc up even higher.
