This happend yesterday and I'm at a computer at work, so I can't troubleshoot my home computer now, but will be able to in a few hours. Anyways, yesterday, I was playing some TFC when I saw a ton of slow down. I pressed TAB and noticed my Ping was at a normal 250, so it had to be my computer. For some reason, ESC won't let me exit out of TFC, so I CTRL + ALT + DELETE TFC and everything's fine and dandy. I double click on my IE icon and it freezes my computer up, I CTRL + ALT + DELETE, until I end up restarting.

I restart and in the top left corner of where the Compaq Logo is displayed on the start up (before the Win98 boot up window), it starts scanning (pretty fast) each megabite of RAM. The scan only takes 2 seconds until it gets to like 78mb and it says theres something wrong. I was being too paranoid and decided to restart again, same thing, no error, but I get like a 162 Key OS has not been defined, I keep pressing ESC, until Windows Boots Up.

Everything has been running fine since then, I'm updating Windows, and the only flaw I see is that most pages won't re-load. Like IE is storing all websites viewed and I have to refresh multiple times to get an updated page. I think the problem is IE and am upgrading to Service Pack 2 (in the Software Forum) and I hope it fixes up the problem.

Anyone just know what both the errors meant? They seemed to fix themselves and I just installed Norton AntiVirus 2001 and it did a full system scan last night, so it's not a virus.. At least, Norton doesn't detect it.
