What does this mean?

In the primary drive, it says

CD or DVD Burner - COMBO

Does this not mean that the drive can burn CD's as well as DVD's??

a combo drive can burn cds but not dvds. it only reads dvds

I have a combo cd/dvd drive in my HP. One drive. It plays and burns, both cds and dvds.

The way that is worded it would sound as if that is a DVD burner. Traditionally a Combo drive is a DVD-ROM/CD burner though. How about a link to waht you are looking at? That would help us identify the drive for you.
