Btw the symbols are not accurate, those are just placeholders for the real symbols which we could not find a font for so we just put random ones there. This is on a book a friend found and she cant understand anything in it. The book is black and leather......and looks VERY old......

i was thinking the same... without identifying the language/symbols theres no way we can really tell what it is.

got a scanner? digicam? are there any pictures in the book? how big is the lettering?
