Allrite i am freaking out dude. Basically i applied to rider university. its a pretty good school and i was thinking i probaly wouldnt get into that school. Anyways They send me a letter in the mail today And say that they have recieved my grades and SAT scores and whatnot and went through it. But then it said that they want to see my second marking period grades (which is going on right now)

My grades for this quarter are decent i guess. What does this mean? Do i have to do exceptionally well to get in or Does that mean that if i somewhat decently i will get in?

i dont understand.

They probably just don't want you to fsck up/slack off by getting a bunch of C's or something.

most likely you are in but you better at least do as well this quarter as you did in the others.

I thought your caps lock key was broken but since everything is fine in your post, I'm going to assume that it's just that you're an idiot.

You were probably on the verge of acceptance and they want to see you do well for the rest of the year before they commit to you.

Talk to your guidence counseler.

They're probably not sure whether to let you in or not and are going to compare your lsat quarter grades w/ some other applicants

This happened to a few people my senior year; it means that you're a borderline acceptance, but you've improved in your more recent years so they're going to give you a chance to push yourself over the top. Don't slack, and as long as you show consistent performance with your previous grades, your in. Couldn't hurt to improve either.

If you're able to write that and yet don't understand what it means (ie. you understood it enough to write it, but now can't understand what you wrote) I suspect that you will not get in.

They want to make sure you don't contract a case of senioritis. You are borderline acceptance so they aren't going to take a chance. As long as you mantain or improve your grades you are in. If you completely blow off school because it is your last semester you can kiss acceptance goodbye.

Around here, you only need

A. a pulse

B. a brain

and

C. a liver

Most people make it in.
