What does this exactly do..

What does setting the CCC to Performance actually do? I mean does it lower the graphics of the games? With it on I get 8 more fps in CS:S and about 50 more 3dmarks...I don't know if I should keep it if I wanna play games with all the eye candy.

If youre already getting 80+ fps then IQ over a 10 fps gain for me. i set everything to application preference then choose my AA in the game. 50 3d marks really worth it for sacrifcing IQ?

Then...what is IQ? And what does it do and why would I not wanna sacrifice it?

Sorry for all the questions.

IQ = Image Quality

I'm not sure exactly what that Performance setting would do, but it's probably stuff like lowering texture quality, maybe enabling anisotropic filtering optimizations which slightly degrade image quality, stuff like that. If you're already happy with the framerates you were getting before, I'd just leave it on the default setting.

The "current settings" section tells you what the individual settings are at. Also at the moment you are running custom settings, not performance.
