Since a month ago or so, this error started popping up. It pops up always when I use the windows explorer to browse my files.. then I click OK 6-7 times before it dissapears, and a few minutes after it pops up again.

What does it mean? The jumbled text doesn't really tell me anything 🙁

Thanks

Have you ran check disk & defrag ?

Also, have you ran hard drive manufacturers diagnostic to check the intergrity of your drive(s) ?

Have you ran memtest to check the reliability of your memory ?

No, and I haven't switched video cards either, I haven't tried another PSU, I haven't reformatted, I haven't switched cable between the hard drives etc 🙂

Usually I have some vague idea of what component might be faulty before I start troubleshooting...

Unless you contact Microsoft you are probably not going to know exactly what this means & thus what component is the cause of the problem.

My "guess" is that it is either memory or hard drive related.

Looks like a file that has crept into your Application Data Folder that ought to be deleted. Looks to me like some kind of malware.

Looks like some spyware/malware to me. That's nothing from microsoft.

I would scan your computer for viruses. You can use an online scan at trendmicro.com. Also be sure to run Spybot or Adaware. If you do the virus scan make sure you reboot into safe mode with networking to be sure that the problem applications don't load.
