Do you mean in the comic relief way "come up with a funny meaning" type thing, or does your office simply contain people who not only don't know much about politics but also don't know how to use google?

That's not the way I understood it. Bush could not have pushed the bill through - no matter how hard he tried.

not by force no, but by the power of his position heading the majority of both houses? he could have atleast brought it to a vote. but instead he took the path of silence that lets him straddle that fense. no plain talking here, just bullsh*t. you don't just claim a bill won't pass and put it away. in a democracy you vote to see if there are enough votes. thats how it works u know.
 
If not a single member of congress, out of the hundreds of them, did not propose to extend the bill, why are you only blaming Bush? Democrats in congress could have proposed it just as well.
