Cuz I think I just got ripped off.

If I'm gonna return it as if its unused, I cant actually open the box turn it on, boot it up and see if its the new or the old.

If you bought a brand new iPad 2, it will, like all Apple product, actually all products in existence, have a little sticker on it, that will tell you specification information about what's INSIDE the box.

It does not have a big fat "2" written on the box.
 
The little sticker just says ipad wifi 16gb black. Amazon says they shipped the 2.

Why doesnt it have a big 2 on it? Thats what it is.

The sticker should have an Apple part number (Starts with MC) and everything else that you can Google to get the exact device.

It doesn't have a big "2" on it because someone at Apple probably fucked up.
 
Why did you buy an iPad if you had such a 'terrible' experience with the iPhone 4? You know it works the EXACT same way right?

My guess is that he wised up, restored his iPhone4, accepted the fate of using iTunes, and fell in love with the fruit. The fruit is very tasty.
 
As I said multiple times already in the other thread, I ordered an ipad 2 a while back and just got it now (like most people).

Already checked google. Nothing helpful there at all. If the pics are correct then the ipad 1 and 2 boxes look exactly alike. Which is so incredibly stupid it would kinda make me laugh, if I werent out 700 bucks.

I told you guys a dozen times, Itunes woudlnt let me do anything with the phone. It kept telling me over and over the device was not working right and needed to be reset. I did the master reset from the phone, (cuz even that wouldnt work in itunes) and itunes still kept saying the device wouldnt work and needed an update.
I turned it in to verizon this morning.
 
I just typed "ipad 1 box" and "ipad 2 box" into google and got about a million pictures of each one. No clue how this is so hard for someone.
 
The iPad 2's box should have a photo of the iPad 2 on it. You can see the tapered edges and how thin the device is.

The iPad 1's box only shows the screen.

Does that answer your question?
 
I would also like to add, it doesn't really say iPad "2" anywhere. It just says iPad and shows teh thin goodness.
