What Does The "Cancel Moire" Adjustment Do On A Monitor?

I have the Sony CPD-E540, and I've noticed the corners being a little blury, and I was going through all the controls on the monitor, and I came across Cancel Moire, with little wavy lines in the picture that describes it. I've adjusted this control from 0 to 100, and I cannot tell much of a difference.

I'm asking 2 questions about this monitor:

1) What can I do to minimize the blurriness in the corners?

2) What is this mysterious "Cancel Moire"?

Thanks.

Moire adjustments are used to help negate or cancel out the effect caused by electric interferance such as a high current device on the same circuit as your Monitor like a Air conditioner or Deep freeze Washer dryer microwave ext. You have no interferance then it should be Default Off so ZERO moire. I find it odd you cant see the diffrence from 0 moire and 100 moire since 100 moire makes the whole screen shake.

THe Blurry edges are fixes via Landing Adjustments with sonys and Corner Correction. Good luck

OK, fixed the moire issue. Now, for the corners, is it the Landing adjustments that fix these? Or is this monitor just a POS?
