What does Taki (spelling) mean?

I was watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding and the Aunt kept calling someone Taki (sp?) Is that a name or a nickname? The reason I ask is because some Greek guy asked me how his jacket looked while I was waiting at Bloomingdales and I said, "It looks great Taki." He didn't say anything afterward😀
