hmmm. spd usually just means auto, but you may have an spd setting as well. most memory has its best setting built into an spd table which the bios checks out and sets. 100 might be the memory divider depending on what kind of system you have. So basically you are getting the memory at stock speed and driving it even lower so that it is... out of the equation.
