Well last friday I was told that I will hear from the company's recruiters soon about an invite to the second round. Hate to sound so impatient, but I thought soon always meant 2-3 days especially for these kind of things.
In college some of those recruiters were interviewing like a year in advance it seemed.
If an interviewer can't pinpoint within a month of when they will make a decision they are more than likely looking for a 6 figure employee willing to take half that.
Wait a few more days and make a follow-up call, mentioning again that you're really interested in the position and just wanted to see where things stand at this time.
Soon is their way of saying "you'll hear from us if we are interested in you". It means nothing more. You could wait a few days, or you could wait months. A lot of places won't even inform you if you didn't get the job. Sometimes you have to follow up with them.
