What does Socket M2 provide? Only DDR2?

Does the new Socket M2 provide any additional benefits except for DD2 RAM? Is it even worth waiting for? With the delay, it seems like it won't be.

My friend, you should read a whole fuckload more.
This board is a community, you have 23 posts being on here for 1 1/5 years
I take it you only come here to get the "scoop" and tell your friends how leet you are.

Read up on it, alot more than you think, padawan.

Clean up your act. Your reply is not helpful in any way, and your choice of words is beyond rude.

So after a month (sorry, maybe 1 1/5 months) you have the right to badmouth people like that? Learn some manners - this is, as you say, a community. And last I checked it didn't have a minimum posts per month as a requirement.

I have manners, I have no respect for people that cannot use a search button for a topic that has been well covered with the facts given to us.

Posts per month is nothing, but posts like that add to his post count, should be deducted if you ask me.

And I've been very active, trying to helpe as many people as I can clever.

nice name by the way, Good old Clever Hans.

Just because you have no respect someone doesn't mean you shouldn't use those manners you claim you have.

No, noooo, PLEASE do not deduct from my post count. It's the most important thing in my life! What will I do if I go from 23 to 22?

As long as you don't add my post counts to Broly, I'll be okay.

On topic for a brief period:

There doesn't seem to be all that much changed other than DDR2, although AMD isn't being very verbose about the upcoming socket so...

*Shrugs*

Did AMD say that Quad-Core CPUs will be available for sM2? Even if sM2 isn't the enabler, I imagine that this is pretty significant.

BTW, behaps so few posts over so long a time indicates more that he HAS been reading A WHOLE LOT MORE than he has been posting. People are often instructed to lurk first in other forums. This is the first time I've seen that kind of backlash here.

Isnt the AM2 line supposed to take the chip speeds beyond 3.0 GHz? That in itself is worth having I think. Everyone seems to be focused only on the DDR for some reason.

Added to my DNT list. I suggest others do the same.

All, Broly is probably 13 years old (or younger) . So cut the boy some slack ;). Also don't blame him for his immaturity and / or rudeness, blame his parents. If my son acted in this way, he wouldn't have a computer in the first place. What this child needs is discipline (perhaps we can start with a ban?). ;)

This is coming from someone who can't spell and also who gets all worked up about ATI vs Nvidia that he has to curse at everyone who's opinion isn't his.

And it's sad to say, but most 13 year olds are that way (if in fact he is 13.) Doesn't make the rest of us look very good (like me.)
