What does PCB form in graphics card specification suggest?

Maybe it is talking about its a full height card, not low profile card.

It's a nice card. I like the GTX 660's. BTW, this card is not a LP card.. And most LP cards suck for serious gaming.

EDIT: Are you buying it from newegg? Kind of pricey. There is a better card for $10 more if you don't mind AMD.

This is an amazing card for the price!

Low profile doesn't say anything about gaming, it just says that the card is meant for smaller computers (like the ones you see in schools, or for HTPCs). There have been a few gaming cards that they made into LP format, such as the 7750 and 7850. However, generally the small size means that they can't fit all the parts required for a gaming system onto the board and still cool it effectively.

Most gaming cards just use the full size PCBs. If you're installing into a normal computer (not one of those compact/mini pre-built Dells, for example), then you'll be fine with any card, as long as your system can power it and isn't bottlenecking it. What's the rest of your computer, anyway? If you're putting it into a really old computer, you may not get any benefits from faster cards.

This is what I have in mind....

A Intel Z77 chipset mobo(haven't landed on anything yet)

Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 Core i5 3570K Processor

Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10) vs G.Skill Ripjawsx 2x8GB (F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL)

havent decided on this either, any advice?

You'll have better advice on your system if you make a thread in "general hardware". Post your budget and people will help you find the best deals.

You won't need more than a 3570K if you're building right now. 3770K is marginally better in some cases, marginally worse in others, and costs $70-100 more.

GTX 660, GTX 670, 7870, 7870XT, and 7950 all are good choices for their relative costs. There's a lot of bickering on this forum, but the truth is, they all generally perform 5-10% within the same tier. 660 and 7870 are good value for under $200, the 7870 XT is good at $250, and the 7950 and 670 are good around $300. Both AMD and Nvidia cards have bundles, but AMD's bundle is better at the moment. You should be able to sell either bundle for some money on ebay. Nvidia cards will draw less power for the same performance, but AMD will cost less and overclock better, usually.
