Just moved back to LA and FedEx nearly destroyed my computer. Trying to bootup now but all I get is one long beep repeated over and over when I power up. MObo is Asus P3B-F. What does the beep mean? THanks

Something is probably dislodged from the socket. Check memory and pci cards to make sure they are inserted.

I just checked my P3V4X manual and it says one long beep means no memery installed or detected. I think it should be the same for your mother board

i am pretty sure that one long beep is the memory, make sure it is seated properly and maybe try switching slots if nothing else works

One beep is usuly memory, not always that its not in correctly, some boards just wont work with some cheap memory.
