I was just wondering if anyone here knew what "new Pulls" meant. I saw some scsi hard drives that have a 90 day warranty, but it says "new pulls". Is that a bad thing if it has new pulls? Is it more prone to breaking down?

Thanks.

It means it was newly pulled off a working system.

new pulls = removed from a working PC.

the "new" word is just a marketing stradegy

afterall they cannot say "beatup, used, abused, tortured pulls"

"new pulls" should really mean that the drive was pulled with little or no usage. I've had to do this before during a new computer migration where over 1000 new computers came in, about 15-20 of them needed a larger hd than what the manufacturer included, so the old ones were "new pulls".
