Multi-Million? I have no idea. Can you provide any more information? Like what context/sentence it was used in?

MM represents millions of dollars. If you see Revenue ($MM) and you see 351 below that, the company earned $351,000,000 last year.

M denotes thousand in roman numerals. When you put 2 letters next to each other in algebra is means to multiply them.

Therefore:

MM = 1000 x 1000 = 1,000,000

MM in roman numerals stands for 2,000.

M with a bar over the top over it would be 1,000 x 1,000.
