What does Jagermeister taste like?

Its pretty close to black licorice. I don't think its too bad, just don't drink it with a Mountain Dew chaser. That is absolutely disgusting.

Anise. Yeah thats what it tastes like too. 🙂 I would say it tastes more like pure anise than regular black licorice, which is more what sambuca tastes like.

I like Jager better than Sambuca.

Jager is the best... it could cure ANYTHING. It might even allow you to see through time. Also good for turning lame bore-fests into raging porn-a-holic drunk fests. 😀

Jager is horrible. The last time I had it, a friend of mine and I raced chugging dixie cups of the stuff. Blech. Much of that night is a gaping black hole.

No, that's Everclear.

Everclear doesn't "taste" at all. It's just a force of mass destruction. Taste buds, esophagi, livers, intestinal tracts etc. all cower in fear.
Rightfully so. 190 proof isn't a joke. One shot almost killed me.

Hahaha, good old Jägermeister! In my opinion, nothing else tastes quite like it. I have many fond memories regarding the consumption thereof.

When I was in Germany, we'd go on these Volksmarches from 10-50 km. What would these jaunts be without Jägermeister? This elixer leaves one with the nastiest of hangovers, however. whew!

In 1992, I finally earned my Jagdschein or German hunting license. Went out hunting with some Germans and discovered the experience to be much different than here. All three of my hunting partners brought Jägermeister along. While in the stand awaiting our 52 pound deer to come around at 7 PM in the evening, these guys, including our guide, were getting hammered on the stuff.
