"IT" (codenamed "Ginger&quot😉, is a supposed "world-changing" invention by legendary inventor Dean Kamen. IT, however, is nothing more than a scooter - not just any scooter though - this one can travel very fast, and is nearly impossible to tip over. IT can also travel on virtually any surface: grass, sand, paved and dirt roads.

The greatest part about the invention, however, is the engine. It's powered by a hydrogen engine, which is much more quiet, efficient, and pollution free (emits only water) than a typical gas engine. Such a device could possibly be put into cars, and power electric plants. This in itself could easily change the world.

There's a lot of websites out there dedicated to the subject (first that comes to mind is The IT Question), and you might also want to check out the latest issue of Inside magazine (they have a fairly large article detailing "IT&quot😉.

Newer doesn?t mean better!

Haven?t Anandtech learn from the past that glitches like this happens when they try out new software & features :disgust:

IT (information technology) is a term that encompasses all forms of technology used to create, store, exchange, and use information in its various forms (business data, voice conversations, still images, motion pictures, multimedia presentations, and other forms, including those not yet conceived). It's a convenient term for including both telephony and computer technology in the same word. It is the technology that is driving what has often been called "the information revolution."

IT means what everyone else said.

I just wanted to point out that I think I know how DefRef got Golden Member status so quickly... heh
