Sitting, or just being..., in certain positions makes your arm(s), leg(s) or parts of your back fall asleep and go numb? :Q

:(

I can't imagine that it's a good thing.... heh. :p

OMGISMYBACKBREAKING!!!!??!??!?!!!????¿¿¿

It just means that sitting in that position cuts off circulation to that part of your body. As long as you don't sit like that for three months (hello gangrene!) you'll be fine.

But sitting or being in these positions shouldn't be cutting off circulation........ I'm not talking about like sitting on your leg and having it fall asleep. I mean sitting there otherwise normally, except that for some reason.. some part of my body starts to or goes numb. Moving my torso slightly will make it go away.

I thought it was more nerve related than circulatory...

I have back problems, but I don't know exactly what is going on in there that would cause something like this. It doesen't happen all the time.

yeah, yeah.. I know I should see a doctor, but we don't have the money for random doctor visits. Although I'm sure it is something that is better off taken care of before it gets worse.. quite the conundrum.

Sitting on any hard surface can pinch nerves and make apendages feel funny. It's probably not ideal but it's not going to kill you.

But seriously, I think it's probably aids.
