i'm overclocking my friend's mobile 2400 with an nf7 and 512 ocz pc3200 ram and i cant get even 200x11 stable. well, i havent actually been able to run prime, when when the computer gets to a certain point, it just shuts down and beeps. i was running the voltage at 1.6. the psu is a 430W generic POS that came with the case. i'm either thinking the psu is a dud, the ram is defected, or the voltage or sumthing is wrong in the bios. i've been trying to even run the system at 180x11 or 180x12 and they still just beep out and i'll end up having to clear the cmos. i just reformatted teh hard drive again and it still happens when i try to bring its clock speed up. whats up with that?

he's not trying to overclock it
just trying to get it working hehe

check your memory latencies (try 2.5-3-3-11 or something if you must)
and the actual voltage readings in the bios or through your motherboard software

just try to get everything to default
the beeps could also be beep codes
