How long have you been jogging for (not that one jog, but jogging in general?)

You're not getting enough oxygen. You may have pushed yourself to hard too fast. Take it easier next time. Start walking a bit, then running, then walking.

Could means several things - you're dehydrated, you don't have enough energy, you pushed yourself and your heartrate way too high, you weren't breathing properly while running, etc.

only a mile? extend the run and shorten the pace until you are comfortable. a mile won't do sh!t unless your hoping to speed up to break the record....

It means you need to exercise more! You are out of shape and you don't have enough o2 in your body!

when you got dizzy did your vision start to fade out or did you see stars? If you did it means you're dehydrated. You need to drink more water and less soda, and you need to be hydrating all day, not just 5 minutes before the jog.

it means you are transforming into a super hero, keep running then go jump off a building, you'll be able to fly, I promise.

You probably aren't getting much benefit from a 10 minute jog. You should try keeping your heart rate up for at least a half an hour, even if that means that you need to slow your pace significantly or walk. Also, you don't need to give yourself a heart attack in order to get a decent workout.

See your doctor it it happens regularly.

I have excercise induced asthma, which is fairly common.

this is a pretty good idea..... i would also suggest raising the exercise time to around 30 minutes.. that's what helps (says most studies)

also 2 days a week isnt a whole lot.. 3 days minimum 4-5 days a week suggested with 30 minutes of elevated heart rate helps you lose weight / stay in shape better...

if you continue to get dizzy every time you run i would see a doctor, it could be a slight problem with how your body / heart / lungs are working... also if you are sweating a lot make sure you drink something other than just water or you can get "water intoxication" or something like that, that's why gatorade is so much better for you (replaces those electrolytes or whatever)
