What does HT on K8NS Pro do? 2x512 RAM sticks?

Hello,

Can someone please explain what the HT setting in the bios for a GA-K8NS pro do?
I can change it to 3 or 4 or 5 but i'm not sure what it does.

Also has anyone had problems with using 2 sicks of 512 ram and having games crash imtermittently?

Im running 2 x 512 Corsair 3200XL and having game crashes especially with Warcraft III.
Im running the system at default (no overclocking).

Seems me you and many others are having issues with Dual channel memory.

Well i've tried taking out 1 stick and it seems to work, stable.
I've ran memtest on both sticks thinking one might be damaged, but they both are good, brand new.

Is there any way to get 2 sticks of 512 working on this board? within windows it seems find, but when i start to play games it crashes. I got bios F4 loaded, windows XP SP1. IS this a hardware issue or a driver/software issue?
