What does hell look like ?

My master bedroom. Mr Isla is a classic slob and I have given up the battle. Heaven is a spare, clean bedroom that I can relax in. That would leave the kitchen as Purgatory....

😀

My computer lab, it is filled with spare parts, paperwork, etc.

Heaven,

In my bedroom with my wife.

For us geeks, I think its a huuuuuuge warehouse of every computer parts there is out there, with 1gbit internet connection, every game or software there is, every pr0n every published on cd's.... and no electricity.

Heaven is the same but with electricity 😉

a very small dark space where your desire to be in the light burns within you like a lost love....

Just my imagination, I'm certainly wrong. I just read a book on the subject, The Great Divorce, , and this was part of the authors explanation...

It's sitting here at my desk, on the phone, hanging on "ignore" listening to Muzak while a new sales rep tries to price out an order of titanium barstock. 20 minutes and counting, I'd tell them to call back, but the order is hot and needs to be processed asap.

Hurry up and wait. It is my life. Thank God I can surf the 'net while on hold.

But hell is haning on hold listening to dentist office muzak.

I always assumed it looked like a small town in Minnesota, where a certain member lives.....

j/k
😉

(I probably should add this is in no way a reference to the tornado, although I would consider being in a tornado to be hell)

I am with JCIV (we are in it). Anyone seen The Matrix.

Just for the record, I believe that hell is a literal place.

Personally I also do not belive in a hell. However, I do believe in purgatory. However, if there were a hell think of it this way. Hell would be a place without god. Therefore no fire no brimstone.

If you want some some other opions I would recommend reading paridise lost, dante's inferno, memnoch the devil or the book of Enoch.

How about Galatians 3:13, Sums it all up for me.
Freedom ...the intent of what Jesus was (is) all about.

I dunno, i always thought hell (if it existed) would be a place where you lived your worst fear over and over or something...and you never stopped fearing it.

anyone ever see the video for nine inch nails' "help me i am in hell" ?

I tend to agree to a large extent.
Man was designed to function in love, and fear is just the opposite of that.
