What does heart burn feel like?

It's not really a pain, more like a burning sensation that feels like it's in the back of your throat. Tums works great!
 
It's when your stomach acids bubble up out of your stomach and into your lower esophagus. Usually tastes like burning.
 
Ive had it happen like 3 times to me. Feels like a sharp hot pain in your esophagus, might be harder to breathe for a bit.

then you burp it off and brings relief.. i don't know why it's called heart burn.. nothing to do with heart.

because the pain is in the cardiac area.
