What does GNP mean? Please help...

its the total value of the goods sold manufactured by US owned businesses. its different from the GDP, gross domeestic product, which is the total value of all goods sold made by US laborers. the first measure includes nike shoes made in china but not honda cars made in ohio, while the second is the opposite.
